DC Rajouri convenes public outreach camp at Teryath Multiple purpose hall sanctioned at Govt Higher Secondary School Teryath

Rajouri, July,10:In the endeavours of District administration Rajouri to reach the common masses and to resolve people’s grievance at their doorsteps, District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today held a public grievance redressal camp at remote area Teryath after the successful conclusion of unique and ambitious projects “Back to Village programme.

People numbering in Thousands assembled to attend the public outreach camp at Teryath and apprised the District Development Commissioner about the problems being faced by the public.Public from khabber, Teryath,Bambliya,Kantha,Kangrial,Harichumma,
Mathyani,Moughla and other adjoining villages of Block Moughala.

Numerous issues pertaining to the road connectivity, shortage of drinking water, unscheduled power cuts , paucity of staff in education and health department were raised by the elected representatives and social worker of the panchayats.Specific demands raised by the elected representatives includes Adequate staff for CHC Teryath, Adequate teaching staff for Government Higher secondary school Teryath,Water supply schemes for Teryath,Jangrail,Munrian and Gyuian areas as these areas are water stressed.People also demanded for the establishment of receiving station at Teryath and electrification of unelectrified habitation.

Regarding the road connectivity people demanded for the maintenance of the Teryath sunderbani Road, Renovation of the Teryath to Kuldabi road,Tari Bagla road,Devak- Suranchal road, blacktopping bod Keri ghalan road and construction of ghalan Harichumma road.There is also demands for the construction of footbridge at sanai basti.

People also said that there are a number of eligible left out beneficiaries under PM KISAN and there is a need for the inclusion.They also demanded for the construction of multiple purpose hall at Government Higher Secondary school Teryath. demand for sanctioning of Degree college for Teryath was put forth vehemently.

Replying to the issues raised by the elected representatives EXN PHE informed that the project has been prepared for the 100 percent coverage of water stressed habitation.He also informed that a number of schemes are running under NRWDP .He assured the public that the work Gyuian filtration plant will start after the monsoon.

EXN PDD informed that the project for the 3.15 MVA receiving station Teryath has been prepared and having an estimated cost of 4.50 crore.The project has been submitted for the approval.He also informed that 1598 poles have been erected in block Moughla so far, regarding the left out habitation he assured that the left out unelectrified habitation will be covered under other schemes like PMDP or Deen Dayal Upadhyay scheme.

EXN PWD informed that the Teryath Pingagala road is under state plan and the proposal for considering under NABARD is submitted for approval,work on Teryath to Ghalan road is under progress ,the restoration work on Teryath sarhoti road will be started shortly and assured that the department will project the other roads under languishing projects .

The DDC patiently listened to the demands and issues raised by the general public.On the occasion, the DDC said that the district administration is committed to provide better and adequate drinking water, power, health,education and other facilities of daily life to the people of the district. He said that the main purpose of conducting these grievance redressal camps is to listen to the public grievances at their doorsteps so that they can be redressed in a better manner with the feedback obtained from such durbars.

DDC immediately sanctioned a multiple purpose hall for the Government Higher secondary School Teryath and the work on the said project will be started very shortly to avoid further loss of studies of the students due to infrastructure deficit.

Regarding the inclusion of the left out eligible beneficiaries of the PM-KISAN DDc directed the Tehsildar Teryath to conduct a camp at Teryath and Moughla for the sole purpose of the inclusion ,so that no eligible beneficiaries is left out.DDC also announced that for the inclusion of all the eligible left out beneficiaries under pension scheme the district administration is holding a three day camp at each tehsil headquarters for the sole purpose of inclusion of the left out beneficiaries.

Regarding the construction of road from Ghalan to Harichumma DDC assured the public of the Harichumma that a survey for the road connectivity from Ghalan to Harichumma shall be conducted by the PWD department to mitigate the sufferings of the public.In order to aware the public about the new technology,high yielding seed varieties and other subsidy schemes,DDC announced that the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and sericulture will jointly organise an awareness camp at Teryath on 18th of July.DDC also urged the public to move towards cash crops so that the per capita income of the farmers is raised.

Taking the opportunity DDC appealed all the elected representatives and the public to extend hand to district administration in making all the panchayats of the district drugs free and in this connection special powers have been delegated to the officers who can impose the fine if there is any violation of the provisions of various Acts and provisions in place.
