DC Rajouri Conducts surprise inspection of ZEO office Baljrallan* Orders attached Teaching staff members to report at respective schools*

No Teaching staff member to visit CEO/ZEO office during School Timing hours

Rajouri,May 14:Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad has taken serious note of attachment of several teachers and masters in education department offices and has directed immediate detachment of same and also issued set of directions for smooth functioning of schools.

After receiving some reports, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad inspected several offices of Education department including zonal education officer Baljarallan.

During inspection, it was found that some teachers were absent from school duties and were present in ZEO office without having any official communication while some teachers were also enjoying illegal attachment in the office.

Taking note of it, Deputy Commissioner has directed chief education officer Rajouri and zonal education officers of the district to implement the order no.DSEJ/GEN/16042-68/6334-435,dated 09-05-2019 and submit a list of the employees who have not joined their original place of posting by 15-05-2019 by 11:00 am,so that necessary action under rule can be initiated against the erring employees.

It has also been directed that no member of teaching fraternity shall be called in the office of chief education officer or zonal education officer and same shall be done only after school hours to prevent any loss of studies of students in schools.

All the DDOs of education department have been asked to ensure that norms are implemented in letter and spirit while sanctioning leave to officials and leaves are properly entered in service records.

DC Rajouri has also directed the officials to keep a close watch on the attendance of officials in institutions and the daily attendance should be submitted to the office of the chief education officer Rajouri daily basis either through whatsapp or any other suitable mean.

Speaking on the occasion DC said the inspections were carried out to ingest the quality of punctuality and work culture among the employees and any leniency in this matter will not be allowed.DC said such inspections shall be conducted routinely in all the Departments in the district.
