DC Poonch, chair a meeting to review the arrangement for organising One day Folk Music Programme as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Poonch October 01: –As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet chairing a meeting to review the arrangement for organising One day Folk Music Programme as”Jashn-e-Poonch” here at conference Hall of DC office Poonch.

At the outset, District Culture Officer Rajouri/Poonch, Dr. Alam Dar discussed in detailed for smooth conduct of festive, Jashn-e-Poonch.

It was decided in the meeting that the programme will be organised on 16 of October at Dakbunglow Poonch.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed for greater participation of all stakeholders for smooth conduct of Jashn-e Poonch.

Detailed discussions were held with regard to arrangements for preparation of cultural items, security, sanitation, and Medicare at the venue during the festival.

The Deputy Commissioner directed different departments to display banner, hoarding, stalls of different government schemes, i.e; Handicraft, Handloom, Agriculture, Swachta, beti bachao beti padhao, Covid appropriate behavior, etc.

The District Development Commissioner directed the Municipal authorities to deploy additional safai karamcharies to ensure cleanliness in and around the venue.

The District Development Commissioner asked the concerned to work with synergy and maintain close liaison with each other to make the event a grand success.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Develooment Commissioner, Poonch, Abdul Sattar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Basharat Hussain, ASP, Liaqat Chowdhary, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Gen Manager DIC, Culture Officer, Rajouri/Poonch, Dr. Alamdar Adam, CMO, CEO, Municipality, CEO, Education, District Social welfare Officer, Shakeel Ahmed, Executive Engineers besides all concerned officers were present.
