Jammu May 05:– Deposition of corruption charges worth hundreds of crores in mining and construction work of highway and flyover in Jammu by former BJP MLC Vikram Randhawa against the officers and MOS in PMO is a matter of serious concern. It shows how the ruling dispensation is looting the public exchequer and even the anti-corruption bodies are sleeping over the matter, whereas CBI has been raiding the residences and offices of employees against charges of few thousands said Chairman, Anti-Corruption Commando Force (ACCF) and former Legislator, Adv. Ashok Sharma in a press statement issued here today.

He said that “Nakhau ga Na Khane Doon ga” phase was continuously used and made public by the Prime Minister  Sh. Narinder Modi on the one hand and on the other the open charges by his party legislator involving his office directly need independent high level probe to restore the lost trust in public life. Evolvement of the highest officer of Indian democracy cannot be taken so lightly as, no statement from the CBI, Chief or Prime Minister’s office has been issued to clarify their stand or order of probe despite of the period of three days.

The ACCF Chairman demanded the appointment of a Judicial Commission headed by a sitting Supreme Court Judge or former Chief Justice of India to look into the charges linked to the highest elected office of the country.

Mr. Sharma added that trust and good governance are two basic requirements of democratic government, for that purpose transparency and information dissemination to the masses are prerequisite, which are missing.

Mr. Sharma urged upon the Lt. Governor, J&K to ensure the compliance of the government order passed from time to time which is missing despite his great experience and repeated efforts. To quote an example that an order to stall Darbar move in wake of COVID was issued by GAD, but some of the HOD’s are sending officials and officers from Jammu to Srinagar. He urged upon the provincial heads and other senior officers of the government of J&K to ensure timely redressal of the problems of those approaching them as being done by some officers day-in-day-out.

The ACCF Chairman also made an appeal to the people to ensure that each one of them is vaccinated and follow the SOP’s strictly and cooperate with the enforcing authority and corona warriors while appreciating their contribution on life risk.
