NEW DELHI, JUNE 11:-Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed several issues of importance concerning Jammu and Kashmir, including the early restoration of statehood, the economic situation, the pace of development, and the promotion of tourism in the Union Territory.

Sharing details of the meeting on his Facebook page, Omar Abdullah said he raised key concerns related to Jammu and Kashmir and emphasized the need for continued focus on development and economic growth.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also congratulated Prime Minister Modi on completing 12 uninterrupted years in office, describing it as a significant political milestone.

The meeting assumes significance amid ongoing discussions on the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and efforts to accelerate development and tourism in the region.
