Chief MedicalOfficer Poonch(CMO) conducts surprise inspection at PHC Lassana

POONCH, FEBRUARY 25:- Chief Medical Officer Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan conducted a surprise inspection of Government Primary Health Centre (PHC) Lassana in Surankote of Poonch district to review the functioning of healthcare services and assess the quality of facilities being provided to the public.

During the visit, the CMO inspected various sections of the health centre, including the dental section, family welfare and immunization unit, dispensary, medicine store, laboratory and wards. He reviewed the availability of essential medicines, medical equipment and overall functioning of different units to ensure efficient healthcare delivery.

The CMO interacted with patients and attendants to obtain feedback regarding treatment facilities, staff behaviour and overall services at the health centre. He directed the staff to maintain a patient-friendly approach and ensure that better healthcare facilities are provided to the general public.

Emphasizing discipline and professionalism, he instructed the staff to strictly adhere to dress code and maintain punctuality in their duties. He stressed that dedicated services and improved public healthcare delivery should remain the priority of the health department.

The Chief Medical Officer also inspected the ongoing construction work of the Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) at the facility and issued necessary directions to the concerned authorities for its timely completion.
