Jammu: June 12 :-Chari Yatra for Sudh Mahadev commence from Jammu first time. It was disclosed by the members of Sudh Mahadev Chari Yatra Aaayojan Samiti during a press conference held at an ancient Panjbakhtar Temple (Rupaye Wala Mandir) today.
Samiti Members Narinder Sharma, Varun Magotra, Baldev Khullar, Anand Gandotra, Madan Lal Malagar, Ram Magotra, Vikas Sharma, Sourav Kumar and Pandit Sahil Sharma were mainly present in the Press Conference.
Samiti members said that the temples of Sudh Mahadev have their reference in religious books like Padam Puran and Shiva Puran. Mantalai is a place where Lord Shiva have “FERE” with Mata Parvati during their marriage. One can have darshan of exact place where the Barat was served by then King Himavat (Father of Mata Parvati). Trishul of Lord Shiva is still there in temple with which he killed the demon (Raakshas) SUDANSHU.
Samiti told that after Chari Pujan on 16th of June at 5.30 pm in Panjbaktar Temple. On 17th (Monday), Chari Yatra will start from this temple early morning at 5.30 am will all pump and show. Chari will be carried by Sant 1008 Swami Damodar Dass Ji Maharaj (Varindavan Wale). It will have puja at Shiv Temple, Nagrota, Devika Temples (Udhampur), at Chenani Town and finally at Sudh Mahadev Temple.
Samiti appealed to all Jammuites and Shiv Bhakts who want to accompany Chari Yatra, individual or in group, register themselves and vehicles in Samiti office, Panjbakhtar Mandir, Jammu.
