Big loss of fruits due to heavy rain and hailstorm in Thannamandi

Thannamandi May 22:–Due to continuous rain and hailstorms apple fruits and walnuts destroyed in Tehsil Thannamandi. Mushtaq Ahmed Shawl a farmer has developed an apples orchad comparising of 7 kanals of irrigated land at Thannamandi to produce apples like kashmir valley. He said un seasonal rian and hails destroy the fruit crops every year . He appeals to LG of J&K UT and DC Rajouri to take bold steps in the interest of farmers of this hilly area.
