  • Salary of CEO Rajouri withheld, official suspended for not submitting Poll staff data from Education Zone Mougla for one month additional Salary

Salary of CEO Rajouri withheld, official suspended for not submitting Poll staff data from Education Zone Mougla for one month additional Salary

Rajouri,May 03:District administration Rajouri here has ordered to withhold the salary of chief education officer Rajouri and has placed under suspension an official of Moughla zonal education office.

Action has been initiated by administration as the office of chief education officer failed to furnish the list of officials from Moughla zone who were deployed on election duty ( Panchayat elections) for one month additional salary.

Matter came to fore when complaints were received by district election officer Rajouri in which it was learnt that a large number of education department officials from Moughla education zone of Rajouri have not been mentioned in the list of officials in whose favour one month additional salary has been sanctioned for performing duties in recently held panchayat polls.

During inquiry into the matter, it came to fore that office of zonal education officer Moughla emailed a script to the office of chief education officer on 03-01-2019 in which particulars of officials deployed on panchayat poll duty were forwarded to Chief Education Officer Rajouri who did not bother to submit the same in the office of district election officer.

On 08-03-2019, office of district election officer submitted detailed list of poll duty personnel to the office of chief electoral officer J&K and on 25-04-2019, official communication regarding sanction of one month additional salary was received by the district election officer Rajouri.

However, the blatant omission on part of chief education officer Rajouri and zone education officer Moughla has resulted in depriving the genuinely deployed polling personals of zone Moughla from one month additional salary on time along with other officials who were deputed on election duty.

Taking note of all this, District Election Officer Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad has ordered to immediately withhold the salary of chief education officer Rajouri, Mohammad Ashraf Rather while an official of Moughla zone, Pawan Kumar is placed under suspension.

Zonal Education Officer Moughla is also asked to explain his position into the matter as he approached the office of district election officer after a period of one and a half month after his joining and taking over charge from previous ZEO who attained superannuation. Meanwhile, District Election office has initiated data compilation for onward submission for one month additional salary of the left out employees from Mougla Zone.

How is Maharashtra attack different than Pulwama attack: Er. Rasheed* Asks New Delhi will it impose AFSPA in Maharashtra and other Naxal hit states

Srinagar, 02 May: Expressing sympathy with the families of commandos killed in brutal Naxal attack in Maharashtra, AIP President Er. Rasheed has reiterated that violence is not solution to any problem. In a statement issued to FK today Er. Rasheed said “while the attack is condemnable, New Delhi needs to introspect and answer certain serious and tough questions. Can New Delhi answer if it will show same anger and anguish towards the people of Maharashtra, it showed towards Kashmiris after the Pulwama attack? Will Maharashtrains be attacked the same way, Kashmiris were attacked in rest of the India and will the high ways be closed in the same manner Jammu Srinagar High Way is closed twice a week?” Er. Rasheed asked union government to answer that why the religion of the attackers is not being linked with the attackers who attacked and killed fifteen commandos in Maharashtra. He said “Whenever any incident takes place in Kashmir New Delhi makes huge hue and cry not only in the country but across the world but why it keeps mum if more heinous attacks taken place in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, West Bengal or other places. Is life of those killed in Maharashtra attack less important than the life of Jawans killed in Pulwama attack. Kashmiris have a right to answer that why AFSPA is not being put in place in Naxal hit states and why are not draconian laws like PSA being imposed in these states”. Er. Rasheed while expressing sympathy with the families of killed police Jawans in Maharashtra reiterated that every human life is precious and there is no justification to violence neither by state nor by non-state actors. Er. Rasheed added that Maharashtra attack has exposed the double standards of Indian state towards Kashmiris and it is yet again proven that New Delhi has huge hateredness towards Kashmiris and sees them as their enemies. Er. Rasheed said “The response shown to the Maharashtra brutal attack reminds US and Indian allegations against Pakistanis for classifying Taliban militants as good Taliban and bad Taliban. It is obvious that Indian state is firm, brutal and harsh towards every Kashmiris but overlooks what is happening in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and other Naxal hit states for the reason it believes Naxals and other militant outfits in rest of the Indian as its own people, but sees every Kashmiri as its enemy”.“`
