Handwara May 24 :– Due to emergent requirement of blood units as requested by District Hospital, Handwara and was promptly responded by *21 RR Bhagatpura Army* in organising *BLOOD DONATION* at Bhagatpura Army Camp location. 47 Volunteers from the Army Jawans donated blood.
On this occusion Volunteers From Red Cross Mr Imitiyaz Ahmad Age 32yrs R/o Ward No 03, Rajpora Handwara who donated the blood 56 times today was felicitated by Bhagatpura Army Camp for his noble cause and who sets an example for the youth of the Rajwar . The entire event was conducted keeping in mind COVID-19 protocol and social distancing norms. The Humanely gesture of the Army was highly appreciated by the Civil medical Authorities and expressed their gratitude towards *Indian Army* for providing much needed blood units at the time of crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic
