Anti-Drug Awareness Programme Held at M.I.E Higher Secondary School, Fatehpur Rajouri

RAJOURI, APRIL 22:-In continuation of the anti-drug campaign launched under the directions of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, an awareness programme was successfully आयोजित at M.I.E Higher Secondary School, Fatehpur in Rajouri district.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students and teaching staff, along with prominent speakers and members of the institution. Key speakers included Liaqat Ali Choudhary, Amjid Ali Mir, Chairman and Founder Patron of the school Choudhary Zakir Hussain, and Senior Lecturer Rafiq Mir.

Addressing the gathering, Liaqat Ali Choudhary highlighted the urgent need to eradicate drug abuse from society and urged the youth to take a proactive role in spreading awareness. Amjid Ali Mir spoke about the harmful impact of drug addiction on individuals and families, advising students to remain focused on their education and future goals.

Chairman Choudhary Zakir Hussain emphasized the responsibility of educational institutions in shaping students’ character and guiding them towards a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. Senior Lecturer Rafiq Mir encouraged students to act as role models in their communities by promoting a drug-free environment.

The speakers collectively stressed that awareness, strong moral values, and community cooperation are key to combating the growing menace of drug abuse. The programme also featured an interactive session, where students actively participated by sharing their views and raising questions.

The event concluded with a collective pledge by participants to support the anti-drug campaign and contribute towards building a safe, healthy, and drug-free society.
