An Emergency meeting of panchayat Baila Held

POONCH AUGUST 24 :– An emergency meeting of Panchayat Baila Block Mandi was held under the chairmanship of Khawaja Abdul Razzaq Sarpanch. Apart from the Panchayat members, other dignitaries also attended the meeting with regard to the construction and development of the Panchayat Baila and especially the basic public issues were highlighted. Expressing his views, he said that for the last three days, I have personally visited the construction and development works in my panchayat and got quality and satisfactory work. He urged the Panchayat panches to inspect their own works and all the job card holders would be given jobs under MGNREGA. He appealed Hon’ble LG for release of funds for the Ziarat Dogi Road from Baila, which benefits about eight to ten thousand people, so that further work can be done on this road for the benefit of the people. Opposing the Irrigation and Flood Control Department, the Sarpanch said that it is just a useless department. The performance of this department is unsatisfactory. He said that the department should rebuild Marnote and Tarichal Kool as soon as possible for which the department has been informed several times. The two canals have not been constructed yet which is affecting thousands of kanals of irrigated lands. In addition, the Sarpanch assured the audience that the power and water works would be completed within a month or two at the earliest. For which they are in touch with Tehsil and District Administration.
