Amid surge in Covid-19 cases Corona curfew imposed in Mandi

Mandi, May 01:–Amid a steep rise in Covid-19 cases, like other areas of Jammu and Kashmir authorities on Friday 7 pm imposed a strict Corona curfew till Monday 7 am in Tehsil Mandi of district Poonch to prevent the further spread of the deadly virus.All the shops and other business establishments are also closed, transport facility are also suspended while only emergency services including medical shops have been allowed to function normally.Civil society members welcome Covid curfew in Mandi,call it’s necessary.We are glad that the government did not wait for another peak before putting its foot down.The UT has witnessed a surge in COVID-19 cases over the last few weeks.Situation is getting worse day by day. Proper guidelines must be followed so that we can overcome this situation as soon as possible possible.
