RAJOURI APRIL 24:-Following the circulation of a viral video on social media related to the BDO Office Nowshera, the administration has taken swift action by constituting an inquiry committee.
In the video, some individuals have levelled serious allegations, claiming non-payment of dues under the MGNREGA scheme and harassment by the BDO. They have further alleged that their bills have remained unpaid for nearly 18 months.
To ascertain the truth and ensure a fair and transparent investigation, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Rajouri, Aqil Naveed, has ordered the constitution of an inquiry committee.
As per the official order, the viral video contains serious allegations concerning the functioning of the BDO Office Nowshera.
To verify these claims and ensure a timely, impartial inquiry, we have formed a multi-member committee.
The inquiry panel includes BDO Sunderbani Sumeet Singh, BDO Kila Darhal Mohammad Abrar, Assistant Engineer Nand Kishore, Junior Engineer Nitish Raina, and PAA Vikas Sharma.
The order requires the committee to conduct a detailed investigation and submit a report with findings and recommendations within seven days; enabling further necessary action
BDO Nowshera has been directed to extend full cooperation to the committee and provide all relevant documents and records to facilitate a smooth and expeditious inquiry process.
The order has been issued by ACD Rajouri Aqil Naveed, who has emphasized that transparency and fairness will remain the top priorities throughout the investigation.
Meanwhile, a large number of people from various villages, including Nowshera town, held a sit-in protest against the irregularities in the BDO office and demanded action against the BDO.chal
