Aggrieved woman appeal to Farooq Abdullah for action against NC ledaers.

Rajouri June 12:–On Thursday Naseem Liaqat, Chairman Rajouri District Development Council had demanded the transfer of Deputy Commissioner allegedly for his biased attitude towards National Conference workers, deliberately ignoring their developmental projects, and demands etc.
To authenticate his allegations, Naseem Liaqat cited few recent incidents including the illegal arrest of Waqar Lone, Provincial Secretary of youth National Conference (YNC) under sections 107,117 IPC (bailed out now)without conveying the nature of offence/issuing any prior show-cause notice.
Reacting to Naseem’s allegations related to Waqar Lone, today his divorced wife Nazia Kousar (the matter between Waqar & Nazia is subjudice before the court) in a press briefing said that the Waqar was arrested after his alleged misbehave with senior officers at DC office complex when was summoned in connection with their matrimonial dispute (deliberate delay by Waqar in the possession of my minor daughter to me) was raised with the Deputy Commissioner.
“The arrest was totally made on a different issue and the NC leaders have twisted it for their vested interests & to demoralise Deputy Commissioner,a honest & dedicated officer,” she said.
Nazia has appealed to Dr. Farooq Abdullah & Umar Abdullah to act against such criminal minded NC leaders.
She said every day women face violence, abuse and unequal treatment at home, at work, and in their wider communities and are denied opportunities to learn, to earn, and to lead.
“In this case also my husband has taken my minor daughter away from me and not allowing to meet her for the last about eight months. I had also faced physical and mental abuse during our married life” Nazia said.
She added the matter of child possession was raised with Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
Despite CWC’s directions/order to hand over the possession of the minor daughter to the mother (me), Waqar continuously avoiding the directions on one or another pretext.
“So I approached the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri for his intervention into the matter,” she said.
The Deputy Commissioner after getting apprised of the matter immediately directed the Assitant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) to produce the alleged person (Waqar) in the court of the ACR/DM.
“Before coming to the court of the ACR, Waqar had contacted DDC Chairman, Naseem Liyaqat Chowdhury,” she said
She alleged ,Waqar in the court of the ACR used some harsh and unparliamentary words and manhandled the officials and so he was detained.
“There was no other reason to detain him”, she clarifies.
Reportedly sources in CWC said that Waqar has also threatened the CWC officials (matter brought in the notice of DC in writing) and categorically has denied not to hand over the daughter to mother at any cost ..
