RAJOURI, JUNE 02:-Administrator Waqf Board Rajouri and former DDC Member Thannamandi, Abdul Qayoom Mir, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Advocate Mukhtar Sheikh of Poonch, a respected lawyer, social activist, and public figure.
In his condolence message, Mir described the late Advocate Mukhtar Sheikh as a committed advocate of justice and a compassionate individual who worked tirelessly for the welfare of society. He said Sheikh’s unwavering dedication to public service, legal assistance, and support for the underprivileged earned him immense respect and admiration across the Pir Panjal region.
“His commitment to justice, steadfast service to the community, and compassion for the vulnerable touched countless lives. His passing is a great loss not only to the legal fraternity but also to society as a whole,” Mir stated.
Meanwhile, several political leaders, social activists, members of civil society, and prominent personalities from different walks of life have also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sudden demise of Advocate Mukhtar Sheikh. They remembered him as a man of integrity, dedication, and selfless service who always stood for the cause of justice and public welfare.
The mourners described his death as an irreparable loss to Poonch district and the entire Pir Panjal region, noting that his contributions to society and the legal profession will be remembered for years to come.
Abdul Qayoom Mir extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings, and bestow patience and strength upon the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.
