Additional Chief Secretary Shantmanu IAS Visits BGSB University Rajouri

RAJOURI DECM, 15:-Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir, Shantmanu (IAS) reached Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri today on an official visit.

During his visit, the Additional Chief Secretary reviewed academic and administrative functioning of the university and interacted with university authorities regarding ongoing development works, higher education reforms, and infrastructure projects. He emphasized the need to strengthen academic standards, promote research and innovation, and ensure better facilities for students and faculty.

University officials briefed Shantmanu IAS on current academic programmes, challenges faced by the institution, and future expansion plans. The visit is seen as significant for boosting higher education initiatives and improving governance at BGSBU.
