RAJOURI, JUNE 29: Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar today reviewed the progress on the developmental projects being executed under languishing schemes by different departments here in the meeting with the concerned officers held in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bungalow.
Among the others, SE Jal Shakti Department, JP Singh; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; CEO Education; Gulzar Hussain; CAO, Shabana Azmin; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Maqbool Hussain; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Narotam Kumar; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn I&FC Rajouri, Sageer Malik besides other concerned officers attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the ADDC sought a detailed report from the concerned officer regarding the progress on several developmental projects of different departments including PWD, Jal Shakti, I & FC, PDD, Education and RDD being executed under the languishing scheme who in turn briefed the meeting about the same.
Concerning the Jal Shakti Department, the meeting was apprised that out of 68 schemes, the work on 24 schemes is complete in all respects in both Rajouri and Nowshera subdivisions.
While reviewing the progress of PWD, the concerned officer informed that the work on 31 schemes out of 79 schemes is complete. About the Education Department, the concerned officer apprised that the work on 04 schemes out of 11 is complete.
Regarding the Irrigation and Flood Control Department, the work on 12 schemes out of 13 is complete. Similarly, 05 works of STD Kakalote, 01 of JPDCL, 01 of Animal husbandry department are also complete.
The ADDC directed the concerned officers to adhere to the timelines for completion and continuous monitoring for maintaining the quality of works to meet the developmental aspirations of the general public.
He also asked for bringing in the notice of the administration about the developmental bottlenecks, so that they can be cleared at the earliest for the larger public interest.
The ADDC also directed the concerned to keep in consideration all the requisite health advisories and SOPs and emphasized accelerating the pace of work so that desired results are achieved within a time-bound manner.
It was decided in the meeting that special committees would be constituted for the physical inspection of the works completed so far for quality monitoring.
