Rajouri June 24 :– With 18 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus reported today, the number of positive cases in the Rajouri district rise to 10636 out of that 10185, including 28 today, have recovered.
No case of mucormycosis has been reported from the district to date.
According to official reports out of 6763 cases reported during the second wave, 234 are still active while 217 Covid patients have died including 162 during the second wave.
Out of 234 active cases, 42 are under treatment in various hospitals in and outside the district, 9 are in home isolation, 183 in Panchayat Covid care Centers (PCCCs) and one in Triage at MCH (old hospital).
Out of 42 patients, 25 are under treatment in the Government Medical College & Associated Hospital (GMC&AH) at Rajouri, 11 in the Army hospital & 4 outside the district.
Reports for 2928 samples were received today and 18 persons were tested positive.
Out of 376945 samples (test results) available, 366029 samples have been tested negative till June 24.
93.01% of health workers in the district have been vaccinated till today while 96.3% and 88.15% target has been achieved for frontline workers and persons 45 years and above age.
The overall positivity rate in the district is 2.71% while recovery rate is 95.7% and 203489 tests have been conducted during the second wave of Covid-19
