LG releases a book at Raj Bhavan written by Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday

Mandi, January 17:– Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha released the book titled “Animal Diversity”authored by Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday at Raj Bhavan, here. He complimented the author for his publication and hoped that the book helps the ambitious and aspiring students all over Jammu and Kashmir and rest of India.Dr. Shamim Ahmed Banday said, This book has been written to bring all the relevant information on various aspects of animal diversity in a single volume.Our aim is to provide the student a content base relevant material according to their need.Therefore, this book helps them in their studies.The structuring of the book simplifies comprehensive understanding of all key concepts like structural organisation in animals,general principles of systematics and classification.The basic features of each phylum are discussed using examples, along with evolutionary relationships among other group members.It is well prepared for the fundamental aspects on “Animal Diversity” designed for various undergraduate and postgraduate courses of various universities. It will also be useful for the students and Aspirants appearing for competitive exams like NET, SET and Gate.
