Poonch January 10:– Chairman Pir Panjal Awami Development Front Mohammad Fareed Malik met District Forest Officer Poonch regarding the new Forest Act.
During the meeting, Malik got detailed information about the new law. Malik appealed to DFO Poonch that The full knowledge of the new law should reach to the people so that the doubts of the common people about this law should be removed.
In a message issued to the press after the meeting, Chairman Pir Panjal Awami Development Front Muhammad Fareed Malik said that the new Forest Act, if implemented properly, would be beneficial to the people. He appealed to the newly elected Panchayat Committees to work in a transparent manner and Support the administration in enforcing this law and make sure that this law is not misused and no one is harassed in an unjust manner.
