Kishtwar December 11:–Today Indian Army Conducted medical and veterinary camp at Chatroo and Sergwari. Awareness on COVID-19 precautions through lectures and interaction with people in remote areas and distributed COVID-19 kits.Indian Army also facilitated awareness on Government Schemes and helped these people’s to open accounts in Banks and take benefit of schemes like Atal Pension Yojana .Gujjar Bakkarwal stay in remote and difficult areas in the high mountains of kishtwar district during summers and come down during winters.These areas are lack of basic amenties like medical care, education for Children, Veterinary care for domestic animals and others basic needs.Indian Army always comes for helping these people’s and act as saviours In all situatios. The presence and supprt af Army has always kept these people from terrorists influence.Army regularly conducted medical camps veterinary camps Schools for Gujjar Bakkarwal children. Provided first Aid save life during attack/bite by wild animals as also provided basic necessary like blankets, clothing etc.
