BMO, Darhal attached in the Directorate office Jammu for MCC violation.

Rajouri December 09:–Block Medical Officer, Darhal has been attached with the Office of Director Health services (DHS) , Jammu reportedly for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) as his real brother is contesting DDC election from Darhal constituency.
In this regard, a complaint was made with J&K State Election Commissioner reportedly by other contesting candidate.
Election Commissioner forwarded the complaint to District Panchyat Election Officer (DPEO), Mohd Nazir Sheikh, Deputy Commissioner.
“Chief Medical Officer was asked to inquire about the complaint and accordingly the inquiry team was constituted to verify the complaint within 24 hours. On inquiry team report and on CMO’s recommendation higher authorities have attached the BMO with the office of DHS” said DPEO.
When contacted Dr. Shammim Bhatti, CMO said that a three-member inquiry team, including three BMOs namely Dr. Mehmood, Dr.Sat Pal & Dr. Manzoor, was constituted to verify the complaint.
“On inquiry committee report, which was forwarded to higher authorities, Dr. Sajjad Mirza, BMO Darhal has been attached by the DHS in the Directorate office today” said CMO.
Reliable sources said that Dr. Sajjad was using his influence to woo the voters and health employees, especially working in the field, to cast their votes in favor of his brother.
