Rajouri November 07:–Block Medical Officer,Kandi Dr Iqbal Malik was diagnosed as Covid-19 positive in the fourth week of October and according to the protocol for patients with minor symptoms he was put in home isolation, he had some symptoms like breathlessness and tierdness but his condition was stable. Yesterday he was tested again and he came negative and so he resumed his work as BMO.
The general public of Kotranka including a lot of other sections of the population expressed their happiness over the result, Dr Malik’s contribution to the covid management has been immense, one of his success stories is from village pateli draj where there were 36 cases in a day in july, Dr iqbal held a week long camp and isolated every contact of the infected person thereafter eliminating the virus completely.
Dr Iqbal is known to be a very popular and people friendly BMO, he is known for his endavours to provide medicines, medical certificates and other services at door steps of people. He has initiated this trend when he was posted as BMO Darhal where he would hold weekly camps to distribute medicines and certificates to poor and underprivileged sections.
