Unity Day celebrated with patriotic fervor in Rajouri

Rajouri, October 31 :– The National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Divas) was on Saturday celebrated with patriotic fervour in Rajouri.

At District Police Lines Rajouri, National Unity Day parade was organised which was presided over by Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Chandan Kohli in presence of all the senior officers of police and civil administration.

Contingents of police and para military took part in the unity parade.

Addressing the parade, SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohli said that Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel is remembered as the Iron Man of India who worked for the unification of India.

Officer also discussed about the life of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel terming his services for the country as pivotal in ensuring overall development post independence.
