Rajouri,October 27:–With an aim to inculcate spirit of oneness and to give a message of peace and as a part of holding series of events in honour of police martyrs, Jammu and Kashmir police here in Rajouri district organised a Run for Unity on Tuesday.
The run was flagged off from District Police Lines Rajouri by Additional SP Rajouri Liyaqit Ali alongwith Additional SP Nowshera Girdhari Lal Sharma.
Deputy SsP Vinod Kumar, Zaheer Abbas, Imtiaz Ahmed among other officers of police were also present on this occassion whereas hundreds of police and paramilitary military forces jawans and locals took part in it.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Chandan Kohli said that all the martyrs of J&K Police Parivar are a source of pride and inspiration for every rank of police and every member of the society.
He said that police is holding series of events under the initiative of remembering the martyrs and today’s run is also a part of it.
