Jammu October 24:– It may sound strange but its bitter truth that in this mordern era of digitalisation and slogans of Digital India , Panchyat Mori in Block Bunjwah is still being ruled under Britishers as there is no where development across the whole region.
Locals of the area informed that, after 73 years of Independence, Village Ghirsal in Panchyat Mori Bunjwah is still living the life of early age whereas the area lacks the basic facilities as there is no proper electrification, no road connectivity, non availablity of safe drinking water for humans and even the animals .
Adding that one side where Prime Minister of India is spending 8000 billion for the Swatch Bhart Abhyan, and other side the citizens are not getting water for drinking purpose as well as for domestic use. Kanchan Sharma , a local resident added.
Another resident added that, we are not getting water even for drinking and we have to collect water from nallahs and springs. The elected representatives failed in raising and redressing their genuine demands since long. The general public rues the attitude of elected representatives and concerned authorties for not fulfilling their demands and they had threatned that if the demands are not redressed they will boycott the upcoming DDC election 2020.
Kanchan Sharma added that, we are doing there duty in a good way, respects National flag and National Anthem, casts their votes in a democratic manner, even we are paying taxes to the Govt, despite of all these facts we are facing the water crises from last two decades.
In a telephonic conversation with local sarpanch Molana Mohd Ali, He added that there is acute shortage of water supply and also no one source is available for installation of gravety line as the issue was raised several times before concerned authorties but unfortunatly they are not paying any heed toward this serious issue.
Local appealed LG Shri Manoj Sinha and DDC Kishtwar Shri Rajender Singh to personally look into this matter and do needful steps in the larger intrest of society so as they can take sigh of relief.
