J&K Police organised a function at Fazalabad Surankote in the memory of 07 police Martyrs hailing from the said village .

Surankote October 24 :–On the directions of PHQ J&K and under the close supervision of SSP Poonch Romesh Angraal , a programe was organized by Surankote Police at Fazalabad Chowkand today on 24th of October 2020, in order to pay homage to the 07 martyrs police officials of village Fazalabad who have offered their supreme sacrifices and attained martyrdom in the line of their legitimate duties while fighting bravely with the tertorists in different incidents .

Families of all the martyrs namely 1) .Shaheed SI Mumtaz Ahmed Malik, 02). Shaheed ASI Lal Hussain Mirza, 03) Shaheed ASI Niaz Ahmed Qureshi, 04). Shaheed Ct Mohd Showket, 05). Shaheed Ct Mehfooz. Ahmed, 06).Shaheed Ct Mukhtiar Ahmed and 07). Shaheed Ct Rukhsar Ahmed participated in the function and they were offered some gifts as token of love besides giving them patient hearing in order to listen their grievances and redressal thereof.

Fazalabad main Chow was dedicated to these martyrs and it has been renamed as ” police Shaheedi chowk” photographs of all the martyrs were displayed at the function which have been fixed in their concerned Panchayat ghars. A large numbers of locals including Serpances/ Panches and Relatives of martyrs attended the function who have lauded the role of police department in general and police martyrs in particular.
