Retreiving of state land and removing of enchroahment over roads in Kishtwar are proving hollow slogans of the Government, Public seeks intervention of LG

Kishtwar October 21:– It may sound strange but it’s bitter truth, that the slogans made by government of retreiving of state land and removing of enchroachment are proving hollow as the government officials are themselves involved in enchroaching the land in Kishtwar district.

As per the details available, PMGSY constructed the road in Warwan area of of Sub Division Marwah namely “Guzar Basmina road”, few years ago and also demarcated the width of road and constructed R walls of the road, but the government official of Revenue Department namely Ghulam Nabi Lone, enchroaches the said road and makes the area very congested for running of vehicles and moving of general public.

Source close to news reports discloses that the government official Ghulam Nabi Lone who himself is employee of Revenue Department had withdrawn huge compensation land acquired for construction of Guzar Basmina road beside himselfs had enchroaches the road that shows some tieup with PMGSY department.

The hollow slogans of government are implemeted only over the poor people’s but not upon the officials who are themselves involved in such practice despite various times directions were passed by the government of retreiving of state land and removal of enchroachement over roads but the officer who is also resident of said village is involved practice of enchroachement under nook of some higher officers.

Locals of the area have demanded personal intervention of LG to look in to the matter and direct concerned authorties in retreiving of enchroached land as per the norms of construction of road accordingly.
