CBI team raids TSO office at Manjakot

Rajouri October 20:–A team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has conducted a raid reportedly in the office of Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO), Food , Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) at Manjakot on Tuesday.
According to the report, the team raided the office reportedly on a complaint of irregularities being committed by a junior assistant who was appointed 2-3 years ago.
The junior clerk reportedly is resident of Manjakot tehsil and as per reports have also a family business in the area.
When contacted, Mukhtar Lone, Assistant Director, FSC&CA said that he is not aware of what kind of complaint was against the junior assistant posted in the office of TSO at Manjakot.
“According to initial information the CBI team has raided the TSO office and took with them the junior assistant” he said.
According to unconfirmed reports, junior assistant was caught red- handed and the team reportedly has also seized some cash from his possession.
Pankaj Sharma, SHO, Manjakot has also confirmed the raid in the office of TSO and said CBI team has not shared any detail with the police.
Official confirmation /details from CBI are awaited in this matter.
