BMO Gandoh illegally occupies Patient Saria Recover his HRA and vacate Patient Saria: Public

Doda October 09:–Notwithstanding the fact that patients and attendants are suffering in Bhallesa, Block Medical Officer, Gandoh Dr M.A Chauhan has illegally occupied Patient Saria and also getting Housing Rent Allowance by deceiving his own Department.

As per reports, people of Bhallesa Doda are suffering badly due to non availability of Patient / Attendant Saria in Gandoh where a Patient Saria was constructed by the Department and it was handed over by Jammu Kashmir Housing Board to Health Department Vide No HSU-III/123 dated 17-09-2019 on 21-09-2019 however the same has been occupied by BMO illegally.

Sources said that although there is well furnished BMO Quarter available in the Hospital premises of Sub District Hospital Gandoh and a number of BMOs used this Quarter for residential purpose, Dr MA Chauhan locked the original BMO Quarter and occupied Patient Saria illegally.

“Not only this, BMO has deceived government and continued to receive Housing Rent Allowance (HRA) for the last one year even though he has occupied Government Building”, sources said adding that BMO has not only cheated public of Bhallesa but has also cheated the Department. “How a Government Officer is getting HRA when he has occupied Government building”, people of the area objected adding that BMO has received various notices by the authorities to vacate patient Saria but he has not vacated it.

The officials of the Department are also fed up with the dictatorial attitude of BMO Gandoh. “BMO used to come office after 3 PM and it is his routine. People remain waiting in his office and nobody is being attended”, an official said on the condition of anonymity. He added that this is also big reason that he has left Hospital premises BMO Quarter and occupied Patient Saria at about 1 kilometre away from Hospital.

Locals have demanded that stern action should be taken against BMO and Patient Saria should be vacated besides HRA of the officer for the last one year should be recovered from his salary.
