Mandi,/Poonch September 28-:–Integrated Child development Scheme (ICDS) is playing a very vital role in the nutrition of buds is an undeniable fact. The department is playing a significant role since decades is salute deserving and should appericiated at all levels.

Today under Poshan Abhiyan Programme was organised by ICDS department/social welfare at Sawjian programme was a great message to each one.It is pertinent to mention here that BDC Chairperson Mandi Shamim Ganai the renowed personality and public figure was the chief guest and guest of honour respectively on this prestigious occasion cum programme of extreme significance.

Poshan abhiyan were celebrate through out the month of september but the central role were played by great ICDS workers and concern supervisor for which we have no words to glorify,Putting their lives jeoparadise in pandemic these workers and supervisors supervisors put all the possible efforts to reach every home door in order to delivery ration/available food items to homes of general public and for this comendable task they deserve salute and much more.

While addressing the gathering, BDC said that proper nutrition is vital at every stage of life, especially for children to stimulate their mental and physical growth.

He said that the aim is to educate people especially the health workers about the significance of proper nutrition for pregnant women, regular ante-natal check-ups, institutional delivery and immunization for infants.

Moreover CDPO said and highlighted the significance of proper nutrition is vital at every stage of life, especially for children to stimulate their mental and physical growth and for which to know the nutritional value of local dishes.

On this occasion Programme officer Tanveer khan accompanied with Deputy Commandant 40RR sawjian were special guest of honour and all the supervisors and angarwadi workers along with local people were present to know about these benefits.
