Working Journalist’s frames association under banner of Bhalessa Bunjwah Thathri Journalists Association

Bhalessa May 30:–The working Journalists across the hilly terrain regions of Doda and Kishtwar, today framed association under banner of Bhalessa Bunjwah Thathri Journalists Association. The meeting was attended by scores of journalists and various issues were discussed for administrative redressal.
During the course of meeting, Senior Journalist Ishtyak Malik presents the welcome address and framed the association under name and style of “Bhalessa Bunjwah Thathri Journalists Association” .
Firdous Khanday was given responsibility of President of association whereas Ishtyak Malik was elected Gen. Secretary, Rafi Choudhury was elected Chief Advisor and Shafqat Sheikh was elected Chief Spokesperson of the association.
The association was framed among which Ravi Vanshi and Ch. Mohd Saleem were elected as Vice President, besides Akram Malik as Joint Secretary, Arjun Thakur as Publicity Secretary, Anzer Ayoob as Advisor, Bilal Bhalessi and Ishtyak Batt as Organisers, Baber Nafice , Arif Suhail Malik, as Executive members of the association for the year 2020-21.
The association president Firdous Khanday lauded the efforts of working Journalists during the country wide lockdown of Covid 19 pandemic. Adding the the district administration must appreciates and encourage the works of Journalists during Covid 19 pandemic.
The working Journalists urged upon entire media fraternity for unity and fight for cause of justice. They appealed general public for wearing of masks and maintaining of social distance to avoid the spread of Covid 19 pandemic.
