Jammu, 6th day of May, 2020: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) Incharge Jammu Province, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu appealed J&K UT administration for revoking the termination of medical staff appointed under SRO-24, in a press statement issued here today.
Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu said that on one hand medical employees are being facilitated with honor and dignity world wide and on the other hand SRO 24 employees are forced to sit on protest after being terminated from their duties during this global pandemic when the role of medical employees are highly upright resulting into shoes polishing and begging on roads which is highly commendable and unfortunate to see specially when the whole world is relying upon them to fight against widespread Covid-19.
Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu further said that the central government and state administration should solely focus on providing better essential equipment and facilities to the medical employees at this time rather terminating them which is causing discourage among the non-regularised/contractual medical employees which can leads to an unrest among them within the state or entire nation.
Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu termed termination of medical staff as inappropriate step taken by the administration in this global crisis which eventually shows their concern towards the medical employees of J&K.
Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu urge upon the Lt. Governor of J&K UT and the administration to revoke the termination order of medical staff under SRO 24 with immediate effect.
