SURANKOTE:– Dr. Haider Shah is a competent professional, has started his services as Medical Officer (1984 batch PSC), in 1992 he was felicitated with Charak Award by state Government, he is rendering dedicated services to the department for more than three decades, after serving his successful tenure as District Officer in multiple districts viz., Ganderbal, Shopian, Kupwara, Barahmullah, Bandipora, Rajouri and Poonch, now he is being honoured for the post of Deputy Director Health Services ISM Department J&K, on the basis of his commendable performance throughout his term.

On this great achievement many social and religious organisations have congratulated and wished him success for new assignments, which includes Evershine educational Trust, Sir Syed Education Mission, Anjuman e Jafriya, Tanzeem ul Islam and SRK Global Peace Foundation. As per the present order of the government, in addition to his Deputy Director role he will also look after Rajouri and Poonch districts till further notice.
