RAJOURI APRIL 26:-Rajouri Police have achieved a breakthrough in theft incidents by arresting two individuals involved in a series of theft cases within the jurisdiction of Police Post Chingus.
Acting on specific intelligence a police team led by IC PP Chingus launched a swift and well-coordinated effort leading to the apprehension of the accused.
During sustained questioning both individuals confessed to their involvement in multiple thefts in the area. The operation also resulted in the recovery of stolen property worth lakhs of rupees.
Accused identified as Viqas Ahmed S/o Mohd Sadiq R/o Paran Kalakote
and Mumtaz Ahmed S/o Matiullah R/o Paran Tehsil & District Rajouri
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri Gourav Sikarwar IPS appreciated the police team for their prompt action and dedication. He reiterated the department’s commitment to ensuring public safety and urged citizens to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to the Rajouri Police.
