SRINAGAR FEBRUARY 10:-In a strong indictment of traditional politics, socio-political activist Mohammad Faheem Reshi has emerged as a symbol of genuine public service in the Eidgah constituency, delivering tangible development while so-called politicians remain confined to speeches and inauguration ceremonies.
More than 30 developmental works have been sanctioned in Eidgah, none of which have been funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). This stands as clear evidence that committed leadership and grassroots engagement—not political office—are the true drivers of change. While some leaders appear only when cameras are present, Team Faheem Reshi has been working consistently on the ground for the betterment of Shah-e-Khaas, long before any publicity followed.

For several years, Faheem Reshi has carried out visible and impactful development works across the Eidgah constituency. His efforts underline a simple truth: real leadership is defined by commitment and service, not by power, position, or privilege.

The statement further criticizes elected representatives who surface only during elections, seeking votes through power and money, only to disappear once polls conclude. Notably, even after not being elected, Faheem Reshi did not abandon the people of Eidgah. Without holding any post or authority, he continued to stand with the people, addressing their concerns and working relentlessly for the development of Shah-e-Khaas.

Highlighting sustained efforts, it was recalled that one year ago, drainage work from Zadi Masjid to Charinambal was sanctioned, and now another major drainage project from Charinambal to the Marriage Hall has been approved—reflecting continuity in development rather than tokenism.

Gratitude was expressed to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor for supporting development initiatives aimed at the poor and marginalized sections of Shah-e-Khaas. In contrast, regional political parties were accused of exploiting the area for narrow political interests while ignoring genuine public issues.

The Greater Shah-e-Khaas Leadership reaffirmed its commitment to being the authentic voice of the poor and marginalized people of Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the people can clearly see the difference between seasonal politics and sincere public service.
