Poonch, August 3 :–Chief Education Officer Poonch Mr Abdul Majid has started an initiative to train all the teachers – Masters of district Poonch with technology here today .The name of the initiative is Digital Poonch.
All 5300 teachers and Masters shall be trained to host online classes, creat e- content, create Google worksheets, create quizzes which include telegram bot , Google form, Khaoot. Under this initiative teachers shall be trained to build websites of their concerned school for evidence based disclosure of the activities and components of the schools.Use of LMS, DIKSHA platform, podcasts , blogs, animations, video making, scratch coding , use of Open broadcasting studio are part of this initiative.
Within six months all the stakeholders shall be made tech-savvy with zero investment,this was stated by CEO Poonch on the first day of this mega training program.
It may be noted 55 RPs who are already trained by DRG and SRG Members have started this training program in all the zones of district Poonch.This training is being provided online in small groups of teachers with free zoom app.
