MENDHAR MARCH 09:-On the occasion of the 87th CRPF Day Celebrations, G/246 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a Health and Blood Donation Camp at Mini Secretariat Mendhar in District Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative was undertaken as part of the force’s commitment to humanitarian service and community welfare.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from CRPF personnel as well as members of the local community who voluntarily came forward to donate blood for a noble cause. A team of medical professionals conducted health check-ups and collected blood units that will be utilized for patients in urgent need at hospitals in the region.

The blood donation drive aimed to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to encourage citizens to contribute towards saving precious lives. Officials present on the occasion emphasized that donating blood is one of the most valuable contributions a person can make, as a single unit of blood has the potential to save multiple lives.

Senior officers of the battalion appreciated the dedication and spirit of the donors and highlighted that the CRPF not only works tirelessly to maintain internal security but also remains actively involved in social and humanitarian initiatives for the welfare of society.

Local residents and officials who attended the event appreciated the efforts of the CRPF in organizing such a meaningful and life-saving initiative in the border area of Mendhar. They expressed gratitude to the jawans and volunteers who participated in the blood donation camp and contributed to this noble cause.

The blood collected during the camp will be made available for patients requiring immediate medical attention, thereby supporting healthcare institutions in maintaining adequate blood supplies.

Through such initiatives, the CRPF continues to strengthen its bond with the local community while reaffirming its commitment to serve the nation not only through security operations but also through humanitarian service and public welfare activities.
