Zero Tolerance Policy Against Militancy Demanded – DPAP 

JAMMU JUNE 10:–Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP)  Sr leaders have condoled the demise of those killed while condemning the terrorist attack on Shiv Khori pilgrims, killing 9 persons and injuring 43 persons on Chandimorh – Ransoo Road (Reasi) yesterday.

They demanded stern action against the culprits for innocent target killing. DPAP leaders urged upon the Prime Minister, Home Minister and the Lt Governor to adopt  “Zero Tolerance Policy” against militancy envisaged and implemented by the then  Azad Government in J&K during the period Mr Azad as Chief Minister for a short tenure of two year and four months.

The DPAP leaders further urged upon the Union and the UT Governments to provide at least Rs. 25 lac compensation to each family of the deceased and Rs. 5 lac to the injured persons besides providing specialized medical treatment to the injured.

The Sr DPAP leaders expressed serious concern over the increase of target killing and extended their deepest condolences and prayed before the Almighty for the heavenly abode of the departed souls and courage to the family members of the departed souls (Martyrs) to face the shocking tragedy.

The leaders further added that the sacrifice of those who lay down their lives by not surrendering before the anti-national elements, are the warriors of our great Nation.
