ZEO Kanuyian organises awareness programme on inclusive education

POONCH, FEBRUARY 13:- The Zonal Education Office Kanuyian organised an awareness programme on inclusive education at Government High School Kanuyian. The programme was held under the guidance of Zonal Education Officer Maqbool Hussain to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children, particularly Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Headquarters Neeraj Sharma attended as the chief guest. In his address, he lauded the efforts of Zone Kanuyian and underscored the importance of inclusive and equitable education in shaping a progressive society. He also interacted with specially-abled children during the event.

Parents, specially-abled children and teachers from various clusters of Zone Kanuyian attended the programme.

Speakers highlighted the objectives of inclusive education, ongoing government initiatives and the importance of early identification and timely support for children with special needs. The programme aimed to sensitise teachers, parents and the wider community to create a barrier-free and supportive educational environment.
