Jammu June 21 :-‘ Director of National Council for Development of Urdu Language Dr. Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed said on the occasion of Yoga Day today that it is very important for a person to be physically fit to lead a successful and meaningful life and to keep the body healthy. In which yoga plays an important role, we can make our life healthy and effective by adopting yoga. Since only a healthy person can be successful in life, so we should include yoga in our daily routine. Dr. Aqeel Ahmed said that Yoga is an important part of Indian culture and Indian heritage. He said that Yoga is an invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition and culture. It presents a comprehensive view of harmony between mind and body, man and nature, and staying healthy and fit. Yoga is not only an exercise but also a source of physical and spiritual peace and contentment. Yoga can be helpful for us by bringing about a pleasant change in the way of life.
Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed said about himself that he does twenty to twenty five minutes of yoga every morning which has had a positive impact on his life and has brought him extraordinary benefits.
Sheikh Aqeel Ahmed said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that yoga takes us from stress to strength and negativity to positive attitude and creativity is the best definition of yoga. The Director of National Council for Development of Urdu Language said that under the leadership of Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ji, NCPUL will publish books written on Yoga in Urdu language to carry forward this important heritage of India and make the entire Urdu world aware of Yoga.
