RAJOURI MARCH 24:–Health department on Thursday organised an awareness camp on the eve of World Oral Health Day – 20th March.
The camp was organised at International School in Manjakote under the supervision of BMO Dr. Mohinder Kumar with Dental Surgeon Dr. Poonam Digra was resource person on this event who delivered an awareness lecture on issues related to oral hygiene and ways one can keep his or her oral cavity safe.
She also elaborated about oral immunity besides discussing the importance of Oral Health Day.
Talking with media person, Dr. Poonam Digra said that Oral Hygiene and Oral Immunity are two important aspects in a human’s life as oral cavity is the start of digestive system of body and a healthy oral system is prerequisite for entire digestive process.
She also appealed people to practice good oral habits.
