SRINAGAR FEB 05:-The Care Foundation, under the leadership of its founder, Dr. Mehjabeen Nabi, successfully organized a World Cancer Day awareness program at Zalpora, Sumbal. The initiative aimed to enhance public awareness about cancer, with a particular focus on early detection and a patient-centered approach to treatment.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “United by Unique,” the program underscored the individuality of each cancer patient’s journey and advocated for a people-centered approach to cancer care.

The event was honored by the presence of Mohd Amin Bhat as the chief guest, alongside Block Medical Officer (BMO) Hajin. Dr. Syed Idrees, accompanied by his team, including Dr. Mahida and Dr. Shayista, delivered informative sessions on cancer prevention and early detection. The speakers emphasized the importance of regular screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and the collective role of society in combating cancer.

In her address, Dr. Mehjabeen elaborated on the mission of the Care Foundation in supporting cancer patients and raising awareness about the disease. She highlighted the critical role of community engagement, timely medical intervention, and emotional support in improving patient outcomes.
