When J&K will witness Job opportunities: AJKYF BJP snatched employment opportunities of youth: Youth Federation Unemployment rate raised during BJP rule: Sanjay Sandhu

Jammu, September,11:-All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) State Executive Member and Incharge Jammu Province, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu lambasted Central Government over depriving of J&K youth from employment opportunities which were promised post 2014 parliamentary elections.

In a press statement, Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu said that central government is hell bent to snach the job opportunities from J&K youth by rolling back the advertised post time and again which has developed unrest among the educated unemployed youth.

Sandhu further said that the unemployment rate had trebled in this period of 6 years, reaching a 45-year high. The total number of unemployed went 30 million in 2017-18 and the worst affected were the youth those between ages of 18 and 29. The total number of unemployed youth went upto 25.1 million by 2017-18 and the worse is the rate of unemployment rose as one improved on educational attainment. Since the end of 2017-18, India’s growth has steadily faltered. “The Covid pandemic now has, of course, completely destroyed the picture,” he said. India could have as many as 50 million unemployed at present, he added.

Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu urged upon the Central and UT Administration to formulate a appropriate youth policy for educated and uneducated unemployment youth of the UT of J&K and Ladak.
