RAJOURI DEC 08:-Vikram Singh, General Secretary of Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas), J&K, strongly condemned the recent controversial remarks made by Iltija Mufti, the daughter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti, where she labeled Hindutva as a “disease.”
In a statement issued today, Vikram Singh expressed his deep concern over the inflammatory and divisive nature of Iltija Mufti’s remarks, stating, “Hindutva is not a disease but a core aspect of India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage. Such remarks only serve to deepen the divide and foster hatred within our diverse society. It is regrettable that an individual of such stature would stoop so low to make such baseless and offensive statements.”
Vikram Singh further emphasized that the ideology of Hindutva is rooted in the values of unity, diversity, and respect for all faiths, contributing to the strength and progress of India. “Instead of promoting divisive rhetoric, political leaders should focus on unity, development, and communal harmony for the well-being of every citizen,” he added.
Vikram Singh strongly asserted that individuals who oppose Hindutva and insult India’s cultural and spiritual heritage have no place in the country. “Such people should be shown the door as they only bring division and unrest to our nation,” he stated.
He also urged all political parties to work towards creating a positive, inclusive environment for the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the nation at large. He asked Iltija Mufti to apologize for her remarks, which have hurt the sentiments of millions of people.
