SRINAGAR DECEMBER 21:–Former SMC Councillor and JKNC District Vice President Women’s Wing Srinagar Nayeema Sara on Thursday sought effective arrangements on the annual Urs observance of Hazrat Abdul Rehman Miyan Shah Sahib (RA) to be observed at his revered Shrine at Rainawari, Srinagar.
Nayeema Sara in a statement asked the district administration to rise up to the occasion and ensure that the Urs is observed in a hassle free manner. The duo called for coordinated efforts by all departments to ensure all requisite facilities for the devotees are ensured during the Urs celebrations.
She asked the district administration to take stock of the arrangements and direct the concerned to ensure that all the arrangements including installation of street lights, cleanliness of the shrine premises and surroundings, installation of additional mobile toilet facilities and proper sanitation and dumping of waste well before the commencement of the Urs.
Nayeema Sara also extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion, hoping that the day augurs well for increased prospects of peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
