SRINAGAR SEPT 29:-Ujala Cygnus Kashmir Super Specialty Hospital marked World Heart Day with a impactful Walkathon today, raising awareness about heart health among the masses. The event, which commenced at Nehru Park and culminated at Pratap Park, witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 300 individuals from diverse backgrounds.
The Walkathon was flagged off by distinguished dignitaries including Shri Raja Zuhaib, Superintendent of Police, Srinagar City East; Shri H.S. Kales, DIG Adm CRPF Srinagar Sector; Dr. Touseef, renowned socio-environmental activist; and Dr. Ibrar Bashir, a prominent medical expert. The Managing Director of Ujala Cygnus Hospitals, along with the Managing Director of Le Lafe and their teams, also graced the occasion.
The participants included socially recognized individuals from various NGOs, associations such as CGHS, school children, officers from CRPF and ITBP, and local residents. The Walkathon garnered immense enthusiasm, with shopkeepers along the route actively joining in and demonstrating their support for the cause.
