UDHAMPUR JUNE 22:–Udhampur police in Roundomail foiled a narcotics smuggling bid and recovered Charas like substance from one peddler.
Police patrolling party of Police post Roundomail while performing patrolling duty at Roundomail area noticed the movement of one suspicious person who was asked to stop for checking by the police party.
On his frisking, police team made a recovery of approx. two hundred grams Charas like psychotropic substance from accused person namely Sanjay Kumar son of Krishan Lal resident of Flata, Rehambal.
The peddler have been arrested and case FIR No. 266/2022 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in PS Udhampur.
The arrest and recovery took place by the special efforts of PSI Akhilesh Khajuria IC PP Roundomail under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Udhampur Sahil Mahajan.
