UDHAMPUR MAR 04:-Udhampur Police conducted a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting in village Lodhra, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Basantgarh. The meeting aimed to discuss cybersecurity, public safety, and the implementation of new laws. It was chaired by DYSP PC Basantgarh, along with SHO Basantgarh, and attended by police officials, the Sarpanch, Panch members, and local residents.

Key Discussions:-Cybersecurity Awareness – Officials emphasized the importance of cybersecurity and educated attendees on emerging digital threats.
New Laws Introduced – The discussion covered key provisions related to cybercrime laws, E-FIR, and Zero FIR, ensuring that the public understands the procedures for reporting incidents efficiently.
Community Participation – Residents were encouraged to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities to law enforcement, fostering a proactive approach to crime prevention.
The meeting highlighted the importance of police-public collaboration in strengthening security and addressing increasing cyber threats.
